Before I tell you the problems we faced during our design sprints, let’s have an introduction for those who don’t have any idea about the Design Sprints.
Working for startups as a young designer is more challenging than it looks. Apart from the fun working environment and employees who are as young and happening as you, designing for a startup is an Endless Loop. It may seem I’m trying to deface the Startup Culture, but I’ll tell you the bright side to every aspect of startups, even the most painful ones.
You probably use drag and drop in your everyday interfaces — dropping Gmail threads into folders, moving around Trello cards, or rearranging tabs in Chrome. These interactions are a lot more complex than you think, something that I learned while designing drag and drop patterns at VMware.
